Michele, Stephen and Cori Brennion of Scituate, Massachusetts at the 2004 Emmy Awards in Boston on May 2, 2004. They received an Emmy for the Public Service Announcement they produced on Seatbelt Safety in honor of their brother David (Stephen's twin) who died last year in a car accident in Florida. He was only 23 years old. The state police have said that he would have survived with minor injuries if he had been wearing a seatbelt. The Brennion family produced this PSA to help publicize the importance of wearing seatbelts so that another family won't have to go through the pain of losing a loved one. Thank you and Congratulations to the Brennion Family! A message from Michele Brennion: "On March 18th, 2003, I received the call no one ever wants to get. My younger brother David was in a terrible car crash. As we peered through the glass in the ICU, with tears streaming from our eyes, realizing David was leaving us, my brother Stephen (David's identical twin) asked me if we could take a picture of David. I couldn't understand why he would want to remember him like this." "Stephen said, 'Michele, you need to do a PSA. If David had been wearing his seat belt, this might never have happened.'" "That was all I needed to hear." This is a public service announcement produced by Stephen, myself and our sister Cori in memory of our brother David. Please take a moment to watch it (and distribute this link to everyone you care about). You have no idea how much it could mean to your friends and family."
