When will I receive my order?
Depending on the season, it normally takes up to 7-10 business days from the day we receive the photo to the day it is shipped.

Will the picture fade with washing?
Each photothrow is processed and inspected before shipping. The image will not fade or wash off. This is not a transfer or a print. It is true knitted fabric.

What are the care instructions for a PhotoThrow?
Machine wash in cold water. No bleach. Air dry, gentle cycle.

How do I choose the best photo?
Almost any photo or flat artwork can be made into a PhotoThrow. However, the best results will come from a photo that is clear, has good contrast, or was done by a professional photographer. The better the photo - the better the image on the PhotoThrow.

What "dpi" settings should I use?
Photos should be scanned at 300dpi or better if possible. While 72dpi is great for the web or email, there is not enough resoulution for a quality Throw

Should I use different size photo's for different size throws?
Almost any photo will work. We will crop the picture to determine the best looking product. However, keep in mind the available image space. The 40" x 60" throw is good for photo's that have multiple subjects, the 30" x 40" throw is good for photo's that have up to 3 or 4 subjects and the Photo Pillow is limited to ONE facial image and no text.

Does it come in color?

Knitting technology only allows a maximum of 4 colors and we have found that black and white looks best with light and dark gray.

Can my photo be cropped?

Yes. We will crop your photograph when required or requested. We will crop your photo to focus on the main subject and leave out less important areas. By doing so, you receive a better product. Please do not try to crop your photos, many times we need some headroom on the product. We are happy to handle the cropping for you.

How much does shipping cost?
There is a $7.95 per item charge. We normally ship UPS Ground within the continental US (unless otherwise specified) and we will send you tracking numbers.

Can I send a color picture?
Any picture, color or black and white can be used. Size should be limited to a maximum of 8" x 11".

Can I print the picture and then mail it to you?
Most printouts do not produce quality results. We prefer you email or upload the digital file instead.

How do I upload the file? What image type and quality?
Scan pictures at 300 dpi. Save file as jpg with minimal compression. Use the order form on our site.

What about emailing the photo?

Can I mail the picture and a check to you if I don't want to pay/online?
